Yarrow is a beloved herbal medicine that has been used for ages. The white clusters of fragrant flowers grow on 2-foot-long green stalks with feather-like leaves. The whole plant has been used in herbal medicines, but the flowers also make excellent bouquets.
Yarrow plants will reseed themselves readily and may become weedy. The seeds germinate easily in moist soil and at 65-72 degrees Fahrenheit. Surface sow the light-dependent seeds and expect germination in about 2 weeks.
