350+ ‘Wild’ Dandelion Seeds

Taraxacum officinale

Non-GMO, Heirloom, Open Pollinated

Dandelion is a hardy perennial and may be familiar to many lawns across the United States. It grows easily and up to a foot wide and tall. Dandelion has been and is still used today for its edibility and medicinal benefits. The dandelion leaves, flowers, and roots are all edible. The leaves and roots have traditionally been used to help the body rid itself of toxins and waste. The plant produces bright yellow flowers that develop into the fluffy seeds heads that we all love to blow into the wind.

Dandelion plants will reseed themselves readily and may become weedy. The seeds germinate easily in moist soil and temperatures of at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit (early spring to early fall). Surface sow or just barely cover the light-dependent seeds and expect germination in about 2 weeks.
