A rare heirloom from the colonial era, the Red Pear tomato produces 1-2” long, bright red, pear-shaped tomatoes. The small tomatoes grow abundantly all summer long and are perfect not just for snacking in the garden but also for salads and sauces, or even pickled!
Seeds will germinate best at 70-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Sow indoors 6 weeks before your average last frost date and transplant into your garden after the last frost. Sow or transplant outside when the soil has warmed up to at least 55-60 degrees Fahrenheit.
