Sweet Banana Peppers look like little bananas hanging off your pepper plant and when picked are crunchy & sweet! Banana peppers will get sweeter the longer they ripen, but may get heavy on the plant; it is recommended to stake the plants or pick the fruits and allow to ripen in a greenhouse. These 4-6” long peppers are excellent for salads, sandwiches, and pickling.

Start pepper seeds indoors 4-8 weeks before your last frost date. Alternatively, start pepper seeds in your greenhouse, on a seed heat mat. Ideal germination temperatures for these pepper seeds are 70-95 degrees Fahrenheit.
