The Super Sugar Pea is an improved original snap pea variety known for its sugary sweet flavor. This variety has a high yielding habit and is a favorite of many gardeners. Best if grown on a trellis, these plants will create a productive vine of edible pods. The pods and peas are delicious raw or cooked.
Direct sow peas in the spring as soon as the soil can be worked. For a fall harvest, direct sow seeds 2 months before the average first fall frost. Ideal germination temperature is 45-75 degrees Fahrenheit.
