This popular summer squash variety, Yellow Crookneck, is best harvested when they are around 6” in length. The finished squash is mild, buttery, sweet, and full of flavor. This squash has a delicate yellow exterior with a tender and creamy interior.

Direct sow 2-3 weeks after the last spring frost, when the soil is at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Alternatively, sow indoors 3-4 weeks before transplanting outside when the soil has warmed to 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Succession plant every 2-3 weeks for improved fruit quality. Ideal soil temperature for germination is 65-85 degrees Fahrenheit.
