150+ ‘Ruby Queen’ Beet Seeds

Beta vulgaris

Non-GMO, Heirloom, Open Pollinated

Excellent canned or fresh, the Ruby Queen Beet is a tender beet that holds its shape well which allows it to be planted rather densely. The beet roots develop a deep red or purple color, which spreads into the veins of the leaves, adding color and definition to your garden. Early maturing, these beets are done growing in 52 days. They’re known for their great flavor and are an All American Selection winner!

Ideal germination temperature for these seeds is at least 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Direct sow 4 weeks after your last hard frost. Alternatively, sow seeds indoors before transplanting into your garden in early spring. Plant in three-week intervals for a more continuous harvest throughout the season.
