The Purple Ruffles Basil is an All-America Selections Winner and is known for its deep, dark purple ornate leaves. This basil grows to 18-24” tall. It is beautiful and edible; packed with antioxidants and flavors reminiscent of licorice and cinnamon this herb is a delight in salads, dressings, pastas, drinks and more.
Seeds will germinate best at 70-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Sow in a greenhouse, on a seed heat mat, and keep moist. Alternatively, you can start your seeds indoors 3-4 weeks before transplanting (after danger of frost). Also grows well as an indoor plant.
