800+ ‘Iceberg’ Lettuce Seeds

Lactuca sativa

Non-GMO, Open Pollinated

A crisphead lettuce type, Iceberg lettuce has proven to be one of the most popular lettuce varieties with gardeners and fresh markets alike, for years! Performing well in warm weather conditions, this variety is also resistant to rib discoloration and tip burn. Harvest the whole head by cutting at the base, when mature.

Ideal germination temperature is 60-68 degrees Fahrenheit (can germinate in temperatures of 40-75 degrees Fahrenheit). Direct sow as soon as the soil can be worked (from February to October). Alternatively, start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting outside, when the temperature is at least 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Plants will grow best in outdoor temperatures of 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit.
