400+ ‘Golden Acre’ Cabbage Seeds

Brassoca oleracea

Non-GMO, Heirloom, Open Pollinated

Golden Acre makes an early, firm, medium green, round head of 6-7” in diameter on a compact plant. Well suited for close spacing. The heads can grow to 2-3 pounds when fully mature. This versatile plant is excellent baked, stir-fried, or raw and often used in coleslaws, stews, and salads.

Seeds will germinate best if the soil is at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost and transplant into your garden after the last frost. Alternatively, direct sow the seeds of this cool season crop into your garden in the early spring or late summer/early fall, making sure to protect the fragile young seedlings.
