700+ ‘German’ Chamomile Seeds

Matricaria recutita

Non-GMO, Heirloom, Open Pollinated

German Chamomile grows as an annual herb and is drought tolerant. The flowers are edible, medicinal, and are aromatically sweet, fruity, and floral. The flowers are often used in desserts, salads, drinks, and to make relaxing & digestive teas. Their delightful aromas are the reason why this herb is also popularly used in cosmetics and perfumes.

Ideal germination temperature for growing German Chamomile seed is 68-85 degrees Fahrenheit. If starting indoors: surface sow seeds 4-6 weeks before your average last frost date, gently press into soil, keep moist, and transplant into your garden after your last frost. You can start chamomile seeds outdoors in your garden in the spring, when the soil has warmed up enough to be worked. Chamomile self-sows readily and may become invasive.
