Genovese Basil is the classic Italian basil, known & loved for its large dark green, tender, aromatic and authentic flavored leaves. This basil is perfect for cooking and pesto! This plant thrives in warm weather. Grows well in containers and when regularly picked.

Seeds will germinate best at 70-85 degrees Fahrenheit. Sow in a greenhouse, on a seed heat mat, and keep moist. Alternatively, you can start your seeds indoors 3-4 weeks before transplanting (after danger of frost). Basil also grows well as an indoor plant.
