800+ ‘Common’ Thyme Seeds

Thymus vulgaris

Non-GMO, Heirloom, Open Pollinated

Common Thyme grows into a low mound and is an essential addition to your culinary herb garden. Thyme is widely used for flavoring dishes, dressings, teas, & more. An incredibly useful plant, this plant is also very fragrant and adds decorative texture to your garden. Grows perennially in zones 4-8.

Sow indoors from late winter to spring; barely cover seeds, keep moist and in a warm location, and expect germination in 1-12 weeks. Transplant into your garden when the seedlings are large enough to handle (about 4 inches tall) and when the soil begins to warm up. Alternatively, direct sow into your garden in June. You can also germinate thyme seeds in a greenhouse on a seed heat mat, with an overhead grow light. Ideal soil temperature for germination is 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit.
