500+ ‘Champion’ Collard Seeds

Brassica oleracea

Non-GMO, Open Pollinated

An improved Vates cultivar with increased bolt resistance and enhanced winter hardiness, Champion collards produce large, dark green, cabbage-like leaves on a compact plant. This plant is very productive, giving you greens starting in the spring and going into late fall. Highly nutritious and flavorful, this plant can be prepared and cooked just like kale.

Direct sow collard seeds 6-8 weeks before the last spring frost and/or 6-8 weeks before the first fall frost. Alternatively, direct sow in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked.
