100+ Orange Calendula Seeds

Calendula officinalis

Non-GMO, Heirloom, Open Pollinated

Calendula is the delight of herbalists and gardeners alike. The flowers are bright orange and add joy to your garden or your salad! Adored in the herbal community, these little flowers are very useful and therapeutic. Easy to grow, calendula plants prefer full sun but may need some shade in the hottest part of the summer.

Calendula grows as an annual, but may overwinter in some warm regions (USDA zones 9-11), indoors, or in your greenhouse! The flowers easily self-sow and may spread quickly throughout your garden.

Ideal germination temperature for calendula seeds is 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit. Direct sow seeds in the spring, when the soil is workable, after the threat of frost has passed. Calendula seeds can be sown in the spring or fall. These seeds prefer cool weather to germinate and may not germinate well in late spring / early summer if the temperatures are too warm.
