25+ ‘Boston Pickling’ Cucumber Seeds

Cucumis sativus

Non-GMO, Heirloom, Open Pollinated

As the name suggests, Boston Pickling Cucumbers make great pickles using the 3” long cucumbers. The plants are high yielding and can be continuously harvested. An oldie but a goodie, this heirloom dates back to 1880 and is resistant to angular leaf spot, downy mildew, powdery mildew and scab.

Seeds will germinate best at 70-90 degrees Fahrenheit. Direct sow one week after your last frost, when the air temperature is at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Alternatively, start seeds indoors 2 weeks before your last frost date – in peat pots, so as to not disturb the roots when transplanting. Transplant outside when the air temperature is at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit.
