50 ‘Pinto’ Bush Bean Seeds

Phaseolus vulgaris

Non-GMO, Heirloom, Open Pollinated

This bean variety is easy to grow and harvest, being a shelling bean and drought tolerant. Pinto beans are a common bean used for refried beans, soups, and chili. You can also grow and eat the young green bean pods. Your pinto beans, once properly dried, can have a shelf life of up to 5 years, perfect for the aspiring homesteader.

Direct sow bean seeds into your garden in the spring or after your last frost and when soil temperatures are at least 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit. Sow seeds at the same time to get a large crop harvest all at once or succession plant to harvest beans throughout the season.
